- Saturday, September 3 2005 - Michael Patrizis’ win in Rds10 gave him the confidence to take pole for Rds11 at the spectacular Autopolis circuit in Japan setting a lap time (1.54.381) 3 tenths quicker that championship leader Salman and the fastest time so far this week. - Monday, August 8 2005 - Australian Michael Patrizi (Team Meritus), 21, scored his first Formula BMW Asia victory in Round 10 today after an eventful race. The Meritus BMW Junior took the chequered flag ahead of pole-sitter and Meritus team mate Charlie-Ro Charlez.
