- MERITUS LEADS THE 2007 FORMULA BMW ASIA CHAMPIONSHIP’S
- Thursday, June 28 2007 - Kuala Lumpur Malaysia 28th June 2007: The second event in the 2007 AFOS was held on the 5.9km Sepang F1 circuit on the 23/24th June supporting the Japanese Super GT’s. Two of the AFOS championships were present with Formula BMW Asia and Formula V6 Championships. Meritus came first and second in all four of the Formula BMW Asia races over the weekend, qualifying 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 6th and our 2006 Formula BMW Asia champion Earl Bamber qualified on pole for his first FV-6 race, ahead of Marchy Lee and his team mates James Winslow and Satrio Hermanto. — Read More...
- Dominant Jazeman wraps up weekend.
- Sunday, June 24 2007 - Sepang, Malaysia – Malaysian teenager Jazeman Jaafar (Team Meritus) rewarded the legions of local racing fans who turned out today to cheer him on with a spectacular win to take his 5th victory in eight races. Jazeman beat team mate and arch rival James Grunwell (18/THA), but the Thai at least had the satisfaction of setting a new lap record of 2:10.637 during his astonishing attempt to catch Jazeman. Third across the line was South African BMW Junior Kyle Mitchell (16/Eurasia Motorsport) taking the Rookie Cup win, his second of the weekend. — Read More...

- Sunday, June 24 2007 - Sepang, Malaysia – Malaysian teenage sensation Jazeman Jaafar scored his third win in five races today, taking victory in Round 5 of Formula BMW Asia and making it a 1-2-3 for his Team Meritus. Team mates BMW Junior Ross Jamison of Hong Kong (17), and pole-sitter James Grunwell (THA/18) were second and third, after some confusion over the starting procedure lost the Thai his pole position advantage. “I’m disappointed not to have won because of someone else’s mistake,” said Grunwell. “But I wouldn’t take anything away from Jazeman who drove a perfect race – all credit to him.” — Read More...
