Peter Thompson - Team Principal & Founder
Founder and President of Meritus, Peter is responsible for all new business and is the commercial and marketing strength of the company. His background in the business of motorsport gives him unparalleled energy and focus towards company objectives. His work with the team sponsorship partners is a key element of the company's success in the development and implementation of sponsorship activation programmes. In addition Peter’s knowledge and contacts with Asian and Middle Eastern media and in particular his contacts in the international TV industry are the key to Meritus sponsor partnerships in the future.

Firhat Mokhzani - Team Manager & Managing Director
Firhat joined as Managing Director of Asian Operations in 1999, and led the team to championship success for the first time with a Malaysian driver in 2000. With the restructuring of the team in 2005 Firhat takes on the extra role as ‘Team Manager’ in charge of all the team race operations. He is also responsible for specific data analysis supporting the team’s engineers and driver race coach Bruce Jouanny.
Gianfranco Bielli - - Technical Director
Gianfranco has been a close associate of Meritus for almost 20 years. Together Peter Thompson and Gianfranco have looked at many collaboration projects, and finally found a good fit with the introduction of Formula V6 Asia, as Gianfranco has worked in FV6 in Europe during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. As Technical Director, Gianfranco is responsible for all operations and the management of the Meritus FV6 team. With almost 40 years experience with championship winning teams, Gianfranco brings a great deal of experience and knowledge to the Meritus operation in Asia.
Bruce Jouanny - Team Driver Coach
Bruce Jouanny is one of the top French racers of the past decade, a sincerely good person and a loyal coach who is short-listed for a test contract with the BMW Williams F1 team. Starting his race career in Karting in 1991, he has won many championship. He moved into the French Formula Renault series in 1995 before being offered a drive in the Japanese F3 Championship. Later moving to win races in the British F3 series before joining Carlin Motorsport World Series by Nissan team now named changed to World Series by Renault. Bruce brings to the Meritus team and its drivers a wealth of race experience and loads of practical knowledge and advice for the enhancement of drivers' motorsport career development.
Denny Quinn – Team Engineer
Denny Quinn spent two years as mechanic with the Meritus racing team in the UK and was No.1 Mechanic on Tung Ho Pin’s championship-winning Formula BMW Asia car with Team Meritus in 2003. With the restructuring of the Meritus team operation in 2005 Denny has become Team Engineer for one of our 2-car teams in F-BMW Asia where he is in charge of engineering and a crew of mechanics for Robert Boughey and Hamad AlFarden.
Barry Forth – Team Engineer
Barry Forth has spent most of his life in Asia and has been involved in engineering cars in Asian Formula 2000 since 2000 as well as supporting private driver-owned teams in F-BMW during 2003 and 2004. Barry joins Meritus with a great deal of experience and is the Team Engineer for the third of our 2-car teams in F-BMW where he is responsible for Charlie Charlez and Mitsunobu Endo.
